Miranda Bread — Miranda Bread has been creating homestyle Brazilian food since 2003, serving up breakfast sandwiches, burgers, baked goods, smoothies and specialty coffee. Originally located in Worcester, the restaurant and bakery now has four locations. The restaurant prides itself on offering great food, good service and sharing Brazilian culture.
Town Spa Pizza — A Stoughton staple, Town Spa Pizza has been serving a variety of pizzas, wraps, sandwiches and salads for 66 years. The restaurant boasts homemade sauce and dough, and functions as both a popular takeout spot and bar. Originally located downtown, the restaurant is still run by the Phillips family, who started it in 1955. They’ll also ship pizza to anywhere in the U.S.
Ruk Mae Thai Cuisine — Founded in 2013, Ruk Mae Thai boasts healthy food and fresh ingredients that’s low on sodium and gluten-free. It’s known for its popular pad thai and offers many vegan options. Ruk Mae means “loving mom,” and the restaurant is dedicated to the founder’s mother.
Zachary’s Breakfast — Zachary’s Breakfast serves up a variety of breakfast dishes, omelets, sandwiches and burgers. The diner’s loyal customers rave about the spot’s breakfast combos, and they’re known for giving generous portions.
Easton
Corfinio Italian Wood Fired Kitchen — This upscale Italian restaurant focuses on local and organic ingredients to make light, authentic Italian dishes. Their bread, pasta, cheese and desserts are made at the restaurant by their team of chefs and bakers. The restaurant has a large dining room and bar, as well as a chef’s table for serving seven-course meals with wine pairings.
Stoneforge Grill — Serving Easton since 2006, Stoneforge Grill boasts classic New England dishes prepared with influences of cuisines from around the world. Your meal can be paired with wine, beer, or cocktails, of which the restaurant has a large selection. The main dining room is anchored by a one-of-a-kind S-shaped bar that seats 60 guests. There’s also a large patio.
El Mariachi — El Mariachi in South Easton was the first of the local chain’s five locations. With 10 years of tradition behind it, the spot boasts Mexican dishes such as combo fajitas, steak huasteco and pork carnitas. The brightly decorated restaurant is also known for its margaritas.
Tommy Doyle’s Pub and Grill — After working for several different restaurants, including for the Doyle family itself, Peter Badavas and his wife Keri bought Doyle’s in October 2016 and have run it since January 2017. Though management changed, the pub’s mantra has stayed the same — a “family-friendly pub.” Their menu offers a variety of seafood, wings, sandwiches, burgers, steak and pizza.
Leandro’s Italian Restaurant and Tavern — This Italian spot is family-friendly and managed by Michelle Refinski Leandro with her husband Emanuel and his cousin Leandro. Emanuel was a chef in the Boston area for over 12 years, and Leandro has been a kosher chef for over 15 years. Their menu offers traditional Italian pastas and seafood.
Porticello Ristorante — Porticello, Sicily, is known for its seafood dishes, so it’s no surprise to find a number of seafood entrees on Porticiello’s menu. But chef Mario SanFilippo also makes Tuscan-style Bolognese sauce, scallops risotto, fra diavolo al scoglio, and filleto gorgonzola. Their sauces, stocks, and stuffings are all made in-house.
Raynham
Barrels and Boards — Barrels & Boards offers an eclectic menu featuring comfort foods and a wide selection of whiskeys and bourbons. There, surrounded by actual barrels, you’ll find burgers, steaks, seafood and pizza. The restaurant opened in 2019, but last Christmas opened a marketplace where it sells hand-cut meats and seafood.
Harry’s La Casa Mia — Owner and Chef John Travaglione is the son of Harry Travaglione, who originally opened the restaurant. His grandmother, Anna Travaglione, opened the popular Mother Anna’s Restaurant in Boston’s North End in 1932. Nearly 90 years later, the recipes and traditions are carried on at Harry’s La Casa Mia. There, you’ll find traditional Italian pastas and seafood.
Cape Cod Café — Cape Cod Café began in 1939 on Route 28. E. James “ Papa” Jamoulis purchased The Cape Cod Café in 1947 after serving overseas in World War II and worked to perfect the restaurant’s pizza recipe. In the late 1970’s, Jim and Lynne Jamoulis took over and made Cape Cod Café what it is now. Today, grandsons Jonathan and Jeremy carry on the tradition with five locations, serving up creative pizzas, as well as burgers and appetizers.
Slapshotz Pub — Open since 2014, Slapshotz Pub is a scratch kitchen that features everything from pasta to burgers and pizza. Their most popular dish is called Hog Tots, and features house-smoked pulled pork, a house-made five-cheese cheese sauce, and house-made barbecue sauce and bacon. With a bar and Slappy’s Frozen Treats next door, Slapshotz is a one-stop shop destination.
2 Jerks BBQ — The southern-style barbecue joint is run by two brothers, Jon and Chris DePalma. They slow cook their pulled pork, brisket, sausage and chicken for hours each day. They now have a marketplace where they sell their meat and special barbecue sauces, as well as another restaurant at the Easton Country Club, which focuses more on new American fare.
