All over the COVID-19 pandemic, states like Florida have been given a ton of criticism from the political remaining for not demanding countless masking or imposing stringent lockdowns. Still Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis says, “If I had a dollar for every single lockdown politician who made the decision to escape to Florida in excess of the previous two years, I’d be a quite doggone rich male.”
DeSantis’ remarks have been made in reaction to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s latest journey to Florida around the Xmas holiday. National Assessment released shots of the Democrat congresswoman from New York sitting down outdoors making the most of lunch with her boyfriend in Miami Seaside, Florida.
Former Trump adviser Steve Cortes shared the photograph on Twitter, writing, “If Leftists like AOC truly believed mandates and masking labored, they wouldn’t be frolicking in cost-free FL.” He also took a jab at her boyfriend’s shoe alternative, calling his sandals “hideous.”
How did the congresswoman answer?
“If Republicans are mad they simply cannot day me they can just say that instead of projecting their sexual frustrations on to my boyfriend’s feet,” she tweeted, adding, “Ya creepy weirdos.”
Ocasio-Cortez’s reaction still left quite a few scratching their heads.
A couple of days afterwards, Ocasio-Cortez was once again noticed maskless at a drag bar in Miami.
Florida’s Conservative Voice founder Brendon Leslie reported the incident, tweeting, “For people of you with zero sense of humor: the total level of this post is to expose hypocrisy. We don’t in fact treatment she’s maskless. We care she panic mongers about Florida but then has the audacity to getaway right here.”
