SAUGUS, Mass. – Anna M. (DiPaolo) Joyce, of Saugus, Mass., formerly of Malden, Mass., handed absent peacefully on Sunday, March 20, 2022.
Anna was born in Portland in 1937, to Rosario and Laura DiPaolo. In 1958, Anna married her higher college sweetheart, Robert “Bob” J. Joyce. In 1963 the few moved to Malden, Mass. the place Anna and Bob would continue being long-time residents. They shared a superb life jointly for 57 years right until Bob’s passing in 2015, loaded with the blessings of their family and a lot of close buddies.
Initially and foremost, Anna was a devoted mother and loving grandmother. Practically nothing gave her much more enjoyment than investing time with her household her 4 grandchildren were her pride and joy. Holiday seasons and family members get-togethers have been significantly essential to Anna where by exclusive foods have been shared and appreciated. Italian foodstuff specialties and New England seafood have been her favorites.
Despite dwelling in Massachusetts for virtually 60 several years, Anna was a legitimate Mainer at heart. She generally expended time with family members and friends in the Portland location. Anna and Bob were avid coach vacationers and frequented pretty much all 50 states. She cherished currently being in the solar and calming on the deck in her most loved chair.
Anna observed all types of background intriguing and liked reading through and listening to publications on tape. She was a dedicated member of the St. Joseph Parish and was concerned with many golf equipment and groups at the church. Together with Bob, Anna was also active with the Moose Lodge of Malden, Mass. and the Italian American Citizens Club of Wakefield, Mass.
Anna leaves her loving kids Catherine Hult and husband Joseph of Hanover, Mass., Steven Joyce of Mission Viejo, Callif., Thomas Joyce and wife Stacey of West Roxbury, Mass., Elizabeth Buckley of Melrose, Mass. her cherished grandchildren Casey and Ryan Hult, and Stephen and Timothy Buckley.
Anna was preceded in loss of life by her partner, Bob and her siblings John DiPaolo, Mary Rosetti, and Lucy Hubner.
She deeply appreciated the kindness of her neighbors and group at Sheffield Heights and in particular, the Imbrogna household. Her household would like to thank the great caregivers at Hebrew Rehabilitation Heart at NewBridge on the Charles in Dedham who offered such compassionate care earning her final times joyful and cozy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 24, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden, Mass. Funeral companies will be held on Friday, March 25 at 9 a.m. the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Residence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, 770 Salem St., Malden, Mass. Interment will observe at Holy Cross Cemetery.
