Costa Cruises 2022-2023 Deployment Breakdown

A total of eight ships are set to be in service for Costa Cruises during the 2022-2023 winter cruising season.

In addition to a strong presence in South America, the company will offer itineraries in Europe, the Caribbean and the Middle East.

The season will also mark the return of Costa’s traditional world cruises, with the Costa Deliziosa departing on a 127-night global voyage in early 2023.

South America

Costa Firenze
Capacity (at 100% Occupancy): 4,232 guests
Built: 2020
Homeports: Santos, Rio de Janeiro and Salvador (Brazil)
Length: Four to seven nights
Itineraries: Brazilian domestic cruising visiting Santos, Ilhabela, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and Ilhéus
Sailing Season: December 16 to April 9

Costa Favolosa
Capacity (at 100% Occupancy): 3,012 guests
Built: 2011
Homeports: Santos and Itajaí (Brazil); and Buenos Aires (Argentina)
Length: Three to seven nights
Itineraries: Short cruises to Brazilian destinations, in addition to regular week-long cruises to Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay
Sailing Season: December 5 to April 9

Costa Fortuna
Capacity (at 100% Occupancy): 2,720 guests
Built: 2003
Homeports: Buenos Aires (Argentina); Rio de Janeiro (Brazil); and Montevideo (Uruguay)
